    Cooking Instructions

    Directions: Cut up 2 to 2-1/2 lbs. chicken, remove excess fat and skin. Put chicken, 3 cups of water and
    1 tsp. of BAYOU MAGIC CAJUN SEASONING in a large pot, boil for 15 minutes. Remove chicken and leave
    broth in pot. Debone chicken and cut into bite size pieces.
    Add to Broth: 1 can cream of celery soup, 1 can french onion soup, a 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes and
    1 lb. cubed smoked sausage.
    Add 2 BAYOU MAGIC BAY LEAVES and the contents of package. Stir well. Bring to hard boil, reduce to
    low heat. Cook COVERED 15 minutes on low heat. Add chicken and stir well. Cook about 20 minutes,
    stirring 2 or 3 times until rice is tender. Remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes.
    Remove bay leaves.
